The most impressive images of the world which got the awards from World Press Photo Awards that is a most prestigious contest in photojournalism announced the winners in nine categories to 54 photographers of 32 nationalities.Every image in this gallery has its own value but the most liked photos are, Paul Hansen got the award with a picture of two Palestinian children who killed by Israeli missile strike and their relatives took them to wrap in white cloths, the riots in Spain, Olympic fencing, Indian slums, torture in Syria are also most valuable images in the winning categories.

First Prize, Nature Stories: Canadian Paul Nicklen took this for National Geographic magazine. It shows Emperor Penguins, tripling their swimming speed to 30kph by releasing millions of bubbles from their feathers. These bubbles reduce the friction between their feathers and the icy seawater, allowing them to accelerate in the water

Activist to action: Stefen Chow of Malaysia, of Smithsonian magazine, won the second prize in the People – Staged Portraits Single category with this picture of Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, left.
